Coal Gasification Plant, Gazipur

The first use of coal gasification process in the Bangladesh occurred in the end-2010s at Tamanna Ceramic Ltd near Rajendrapur, Gazipur, Dhaka. A little sized coal gasification unit was established for the purpose of burning bricks. But unfortunately that project was failed at 11th months of its operation due to some technical issues.
