Workshop on Curriculum Development

As an initiative taken from the IQAC, Uttara University a 4-days long course curriculum development program was held on the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Uttara University. On 17, 18, 23 and 25 April of 2018, 38 faculty members sat together and modified, rearranged and updated the Course-Profile and Lecture-Plans with a view of outcome based learning. Total 42 theory courses and 24 lab courses were revised on that program.

The whole program of Curriculum development including course profile modification, was conducted by faculties who were trained by IQAC, UU, namely Md. Kamruzzaman (Asst Prof. & Coordinator), Muhammad Taheruzzaman (Sr. Lecturer), Rifat Afroz (Sr. Lecturer) and Sheikh Farhana Binte Ahmed (Lecturer) of EEE department.

Department’s vision and mission were also set there with everybody’s approval. Professor Dr. Kazi Khairul Islam, Dean, School of Science and Engineering and Dr. Md. Shakowat Zaman Sarkar, Chairman, Department of EEE were also present on the above mentioned 4 days. Professor Dr. Debi Narayan Rudra Paul, Director, IQAC, Uttara University inaugurated the program. Demonstrating good performance, few faculties was specially thanked by a souvenir, at the end of 4th day program, buffet lunch at Hungry Duck, Uttara.
