Sub-station & Last class of undergrad study life

Final year students celebrated their last class of graduation : Fall 2019, EEE

Final year students of 21st Day Batch, Dept. of EEE, had celebrated their last class of undergrad study life on December 19, 2019. At beginning of that day, they visited a Sub-Station(132/11kv) near to Uttara, Dhaka. Md. Kamruzzaman(Assistant Profe

ssor) and Hasin Mussayab Ahmed(Lecturer) guided the team. With an aim to go beyond academics, this visit provides students a practical perspective of the electrical sub-station. Engr. Md. Shamsul Islam, Sub-Divisional Engineer, DESCO and Engr. Md. Jahidul Islam Talukder, Assistant Engineer, DESCO, were described their switchgear technology specially Gas Insulated Substation(GIS) and shared their experiences related with substation operation and maintenance. Dept. of EEE thankful to Prof. Dr. Kazi Khairul Islam(Professor-EEE & Dean-SSE) and Md. Kamruzzaman (Assistant Professor & Coordinator-EEE) for arranging this visit.

After the visit session, students celebrate their last class of Power System Protection(EEE-473) by attending in different activities like as Quiz, Q&A and Prize giving session, Cake cutting session, photo session, etc. The course teacher Md. Kamruzzaman (Assistant Professor & Coordinator-EEE) encourages all students to be more active and lifelong learner, at the time of end of undergrad study and start of higher study & professional life. The program ended after having a lunch.
